Complete IT Presentation has been selling Projectors, Plasma's and related A/V products since July 1999. As the internet has become a more popular source for online shopping, regrettably we have seen more and more instances of fraud affecting online shoppers. We have chosen the higher road. We are members in good standing of the Better Business Bureau and our local Chamber of Commerce.
A Price Too Good to be True, It Usually Is.
If you've ever searched for a product on the web, you may have asked yourself, "Why are the stores I know of charging so much more than some of these other stores I've never hear of ?"
Our customers often share these stories with us, so we thought we would share a few with you, in hopes that you don't fall prey to any of these unscrupulous sales tactics.
Goods may be gray market. They may state that the product includes the manufacturer warranty, but not tell you that the warranty is valid only in Europe, Japan, or South America, and NOT in Canada.
If you have called a company and the person answering the phone sounds like Mom, and you hear "Jeff, the phone is for you" faintly in the background. We would not call this a sales tactic, rather a very clear sign this business is not here for you !
You may be asked to buy an expensive extended warranty. In many cases if you do not purchase the warranty, your purchase will be denied. (The product is now out of stock, your card does not go through, etc.)
Included parts may be sold to you separately. Some resellers will open boxes and charge extra for parts that are normally included by the manufacturer. We have heard of power cords, lamps (the original not a spare), filters, etc. being sold this way.
Hidden charges which don't show up until your credit card statement arrives. Unscrupulous resellers will add taxes (even when purchased out of province), insurance (at a much higher cost), and other handling charges not listed on your original invoice. These charges only show up when your credit card statement is sent to you.
Unfair return policies. Be mindful of restocking fees, and rules that do not allow for returns even when the item is not opened, or is damaged.
So how do you protect yourself from online fraud?
Buy from an authorized reseller. If you are at all suspicious, you should be able to contact the manufacturer directly and ask if a company is authorized to sell their products.
Ask for a written quote with the total price. This will help you win an argument with your credit card company more easily, and may deter some fraudsters from proceeding with a scam transaction.

Professional-Grade Power Protection
Using the Max 7500-PRO, any noise generated by digital source components is isolated and prevented from reaching key audio or video components. The Max 7500-PRO's ground isolation feature mechanically interrupts ground loops, making it especially useful for applications with unstable power or ground issues. IP addressable, the Max 7500-PRO is also ideal for multi-zone audio/video whole-home automation and wherever remote diagnostics are needed. For even more convenience, RS-232 communication comes standard with the 7500-PRO and a TCP/IP card is optional.

Today's components are more power-hungry than ever, yet their delicate electronic constitutions don't handle surges or interference well. That's where Panamax comes in to play. The Power Cleaning and Filtration system on the Max 7500-PRO protects your components from damaging surges and eliminates common symptoms of contaminated power (including loss of detail and visual artifacts), allowing your home theater components to perform at their best.
Bank On Panamax For Serious Protection
Panamax keeps signals clean by putting their technology between the source of distortion (the power outlet) and the destination (your valuable component). The Max 7500-PRO provides a whooping five noise-isolated outlet banks. Filter-regulated Outlet Banks 1 and 2 provide four Balanced Double L filtered outlets for low current analog audio components such as pre-amplifiers, receivers, VCR's and tape decks. Isolated Outlet Banks 3 and 4 have four outlets which provide complete isolation for digital source components such as DVD players or display devices like plasma TVs or DLP projectors. These outlets are completely isolated from the rest of the system. Outlet High-current Bank 5 has two delayed outlets designed for high-current components such as amplifiers and powered subwoofers. The current available to connected equipment is not limited by the noise filtration components.
To Delay Or Not To Delay—The Choice Is Yours
The 7500-PRO has optional delay switches for all Outlet Banks. The Switched Outlets Delay two-position slide switches let you configure each bank for delayed on/off or always-on operation.
It's In The Circuitry
Panamax's AVM Circuitry continuously monitors the incoming line voltage and disconnects your equipment in the event of an over voltage or under voltage (brownout). Voltage can be visually monitored via the illuminated voltmeter. Power to the connected equipment is automatically turned off if either of these conditions is detected. When voltage returns to a safe level, power to the equipment is automatically reconnected.
Take A Load Off
Along with Panamax's standard 15-Amp circuit breaker, they've included a 720VA Isolation Transformer Circuit Breaker on the 7500-PRO. The Isolation Transformer Circuit Breaker automatically opens when the combined current load for Outlet Banks 3 and 4 is greater than 6 Amps.

The Panamax Max 7500-PRO has all of your connection needs covered. The two HD Satellite TV Coax Jacks have their bidirectional protection circuit optimized for satellite TV signal lines. The two HD Cable TV Coax Jack have their bidirectional protection circuit optimized for cable TV, off-air antennas and cable modem signal lines. The 1-In, 1-Out LAN Jacks have protection circuits configured for 10/100 baseT Ethernet lines, and the 1-In, 2-Out Phone Jacks have protection circuits configured for standard telephone or pay-per-view lines.
