VX-HC1PRO Housing (Gunmetal) 07115 The VX-G1 series of video housings uses an effective new design concept: simplify operation. These housings provide essential video operation underwater, and expand aquatic videography to users outside the diving world.


Incorporates the most functional attributes of the VX-950PRO housing.
Equipped with an ultra wide 0.66x optical viewfinder.
Still photo capture available (Memory Stick Duo / DuoPRO supported).
Accessory close-up conversion lens (37mm diameter) for the HDR-HC1 prime lens enables extreme close focus imaging. Requires Compact Macro Port S and VX-950 Step-up Ring.
Large rotary-style locking mechanism enables facile opening and closing of the housing.
Equipped with a video output terminal and an accessory bulkhead connector.
Compatible with the high-powered video light system BLX-55W / LX-HID30.

The focus control can be manually operated by disabling Autofocus ON/OFF and selecting Manual.


The accessory base stay enables easy mounting of the camera to housing. The electronically operated controls allow operation of the most critical camera functions.


The light control grip (optional) allows you to operate the BLX-55W light system while holding the grip. Refer to page P53 for the details.


The creative controls, such as telephoto/macro, exposure compensation, manual zoom, and backlight compensation, are well-positioned, assuring fast and efficient operation.


The accessory bulkhead connector dedicates the system with peripherals to transmit video output/input signals for various applications.


The high-quality underwater microphone (monaural) captures clear, realistic audio underwater.


Replacing the standard front port with the Compact Macro Port S via the VX-950PRO Step-Up Ring makes it possible to shoot extreme macro with multiple close-up lenses.
