Complete IT Presentation has been selling Projectors, Plasma's and related A/V products since July 1999. As the internet has become a more popular source for online shopping, regrettably we have seen more and more instances of fraud affecting online shoppers. We have chosen the higher road. We are members in good standing of the Better Business Bureau and our local Chamber of Commerce.
A Price Too Good to be True, It Usually Is.
If you've ever searched for a product on the web, you may have asked yourself, "Why are the stores I know of charging so much more than some of these other stores I've never hear of ?"
Our customers often share these stories with us, so we thought we would share a few with you, in hopes that you don't fall prey to any of these unscrupulous sales tactics.
Goods may be gray market. They may state that the product includes the manufacturer warranty, but not tell you that the warranty is valid only in Europe, Japan, or South America, and NOT in Canada.
If you have called a company and the person answering the phone sounds like Mom, and you hear "Jeff, the phone is for you" faintly in the background. We would not call this a sales tactic, rather a very clear sign this business is not here for you !
You may be asked to buy an expensive extended warranty. In many cases if you do not purchase the warranty, your purchase will be denied. (The product is now out of stock, your card does not go through, etc.)
Included parts may be sold to you separately. Some resellers will open boxes and charge extra for parts that are normally included by the manufacturer. We have heard of power cords, lamps (the original not a spare), filters, etc. being sold this way.
Hidden charges which don't show up until your credit card statement arrives. Unscrupulous resellers will add taxes (even when purchased out of province), insurance (at a much higher cost), and other handling charges not listed on your original invoice. These charges only show up when your credit card statement is sent to you.
Unfair return policies. Be mindful of restocking fees, and rules that do not allow for returns even when the item is not opened, or is damaged.
So how do you protect yourself from online fraud?
Buy from an authorized reseller. If you are at all suspicious, you should be able to contact the manufacturer directly and ask if a company is authorized to sell their products.
Ask for a written quote with the total price. This will help you win an argument with your credit card company more easily, and may deter some fraudsters from proceeding with a scam transaction.

The Casio XJ-M155 Signature Model 3D Projector packs a great deal of desirable features into a small package that would be at home in the classroom, boardroom, media room or on the road.
Add the excitement of dynamic DLP 3D ready projection to your business and education applications. Casio projectors can display DLP 3D ready content from a 3D capable computer and with the optional 2D-3D conversion software converts and view 2D composite video content.
The XJ-M155 USB memory card can be connected directly to the projector's USB port. The projector comes with special software for converting PowerPoint presentation data to a format that can be stored to USB memory or a memory card and projected without using a computer. Images and movies also can be projected directly from USB memory or a memory card.
The XJ-M155 features 3000 lumens and 1800:1 contrast ratio which yields improved color performance with an emphasis on natural color by refining a waveform based on the lamp spectrum and color wheel characteristics. This brilliant color rendition is brought to screen sizes from 30 to 300" (762 to 7620mm) with an XGA resolution and a 1.5x optical zoom - impressive specs for a projector.
The Casio hybrid light source delivers a 50 percent increase in color spectrum for high impact presentations due to improvements in LED and laser technology. Superior color reproduction enhances color purity allowing visual effects to appear brighter and offering powerful images that conventional projectors cannot match.
The projector can be configured to turn on automatically and start projecting as soon as it is plugged into a power outlet. The wide connectivity includes HDMI, component, composite and S-video. Finally, the low fan noise means that it will be seen and not heard whether rear projected, ceiling or table mounted. And the projector features a 5W monaural speaker.
