Evolutionary in design and functionality, the "Diamond Series" HC7000 expresses sheer pleasure, embodied with cutting -edge technologies to fill your screen with full HD 1080p resolution and an unbelievable 72,000:1 contrast! It combines new features and Mitsubishi's original high-speed Diamond Black iris technology for sharper, deeper blacks with vivid clarity and flawless transitions between bright and dark during fast scene changes in as little as 1/60th of a second. The HC7000 uses the next-generation high-definition LCD technology with Optics Compensation, HD Lens Aperture and HQV processor for the sharpest definition to image details. It’s designed with organic LCD panels to produce a stunning viewing experience. It is also equipped with two HDMI v1.3 connectivity inputs to support true HD digital-to-digital images. The HC7000 features Power Zoom/Focus adjustment and lens shift functions, an ultra-quiet 17dBA noise level and amazing long lamp life estimated to last up to 5000 hours (low mode). All of these features are contained in beautifully scupltured black chassis with a luxurious "piano finish" that exemplifies the sophistication of your home theatre environment. Just wait until you turn it on !

The HC7000 Home Theater Projector is a Diamond Series home theater model that is setting the industry standard for image quality. Better black levels are a key to the home theater experience, and this high definition projector features new black optimization technologies that generates amazing image quality.

Diamond Black Auto Iris and New LCD
Projector Technology
Our diamond-shaped auto-iris adjusts for scene-to-scene changes in as little as 1/60th of a second. Then we added an extra polarization filter to the advanced inorganic 3LCD panels for more precise light focusing. The result is an LCD projector with longer life and an astonishing 72,000:1 contrast. With virtually no fading due to loss of light intensity the projector can reproduce jet black on screen.

"Hollywood Quality" High Definition Projector
Reon-VX HQV (Hollywood Quality Video) from Silicon Optix processes detailed high definition projector images with 1080i-to-1080p projector de-interlacing. Precision HQV processing also restores color lost in compression, dynamically adjusts output based on your source - satellite, video or data, and includes multidirectional diagonal filtering to smooth jagged edges.

More High-End Home Theater Projector Features

Extra low dispersion glass lens with 17-lens optics and 1.6x powered zoom focuses light uniformly for true colors across your entire screen

Digital video output for seamless connection to Blu-ray 24P next-generation optical disk

Smaller, re-engineered fan with a larger air vent that hushes fan noise to 17 dBA (low mode)

Upgrade your projection system from "letterbox" wide screen imaging to a high performance 2.35:1 cinema.
Panamorph UH480 anamorphic add-on lens.

There are three steps to creating a constant height 2.35:1 home theatre system. (Theatre systems where the height of the image is maintained when switching between the 16:9 aspect ratio of high def TV and the 2.35:1 aspect ratio of movies.) Gets rid of the grey bars!

The first step is to stretch the 2.35:1 image vertically to fully utilize the entire pixel structure of a 16:9 DLP chip. Most 1080P projectors support the vertical stretch feature that is required of projectors that are used in constant height home theatre systems, If you are not sure that it supports this mode, just ask us!

The second step is to deploy a 1.33 anamorphic lens to restore the image to a full 2.35:1 aspect ratio with 20% higher resolution and image brightness. This is the function of the Panamorh UH480 Lens.

The third step is to make sure that you have a 2.35:1 aspect ratio masking screen, We have several manufactures to chose from, many offering both Fixed Wall and Electric screen options.

If you have questions on how to create a 2.35 constant height theatre system, give us a call toll-free at 1-866-764-4580. You can find additional information about 2.35:1 in our FAQ Area
