Complete IT Presentation has been selling Projectors, Plasma's and related A/V products since July 1999. As the internet has become a more popular source for online shopping, regrettably we have seen more and more instances of fraud affecting online shoppers. We have chosen the higher road. We are members in good standing of the Better Business Bureau and our local Chamber of Commerce.
A Price Too Good to be True, It Usually Is.
If you've ever searched for a product on the web, you may have asked yourself, "Why are the stores I know of charging so much more than some of these other stores I've never hear of ?"
Our customers often share these stories with us, so we thought we would share a few with you, in hopes that you don't fall prey to any of these unscrupulous sales tactics.
Goods may be gray market. They may state that the product includes the manufacturer warranty, but not tell you that the warranty is valid only in Europe, Japan, or South America, and NOT in Canada.
If you have called a company and the person answering the phone sounds like Mom, and you hear "Jeff, the phone is for you" faintly in the background. We would not call this a sales tactic, rather a very clear sign this business is not here for you !
You may be asked to buy an expensive extended warranty. In many cases if you do not purchase the warranty, your purchase will be denied. (The product is now out of stock, your card does not go through, etc.)
Included parts may be sold to you separately. Some resellers will open boxes and charge extra for parts that are normally included by the manufacturer. We have heard of power cords, lamps (the original not a spare), filters, etc. being sold this way.
Hidden charges which don't show up until your credit card statement arrives. Unscrupulous resellers will add taxes (even when purchased out of province), insurance (at a much higher cost), and other handling charges not listed on your original invoice. These charges only show up when your credit card statement is sent to you.
Unfair return policies. Be mindful of restocking fees, and rules that do not allow for returns even when the item is not opened, or is damaged.
So how do you protect yourself from online fraud?
Buy from an authorized reseller. If you are at all suspicious, you should be able to contact the manufacturer directly and ask if a company is authorized to sell their products.
Ask for a written quote with the total price. This will help you win an argument with your credit card company more easily, and may deter some fraudsters from proceeding with a scam transaction.

Not much larger than a laptop PC, the PLC-XU88 weighs less than 6.8 pounds and delivers true XGA picture quality and 3000 ANSI lumens of brightness in a versatile, go-anywhere system. May also be ceiling or inverse mounted for enhanced versatility.
Auto Vertical Keystone Correction
The PLC-XU88 automatically compensates for keystone picture distortion.
F1.6-2.5 Zoom Lens with 1/2X to 16X Digital Zoom
comes with its own 1:1.57 zoom lens which can throw a crisp, bright 100" diagonal image from a distance of only 9.2'. 1/2X 16X digital zoom helps highlight important program segments. Also, auto vertical keystone and keystone correction (vertical ± 20°) allow for optimal set-up.
Two Computer Inputs
The PLC-XU88 has two computer input terminals - DVI-I input and D-Sub 15 input. The D-Sub 15 terminal can be switched to be used as an analog RGB monitor out for the DVI-I input. This terminal outpus only incoming RGB analog signals from COMPUTER IN 1/DVI-I terminal.
Networking Capability
The PLC-XU88 is equipped with Sanyo’s exclusive PJ-Net Master Network Interface software for wired and wireless networking, a common feature among Sanyo’s extensive line of commercial projectors. Networking allows the monitoring of projector functions and operation from a long distance via a web browser for up 15,000 Sanyo projectors. Emails can be sent automatically to report operating status. The wireless interface is compatible with IEEE802.11b/g standards, offering transfer speeds up to 54Mbps and providing WEP 64/128-bit security as well as, WPA and WPA2 security.
Memory Viewer Allows SD Card
The PLC-XU88's built-in Memory Viewer can use a Secure Digital (SD) memory card dedicated to the projector. With Memory Viewer, projected images can be edited with a slide converter (index data), bitmap data and JPEG data.
Security Features
A four digit PIN code lock ensures projector security. The PLC-XU88 projector cannot be operated without the correct password.
User-Specified Start-Up Screen
To create a smoother, more professional presentation, logo and image files may be captured for display during the projector's countdown sequence at start-up.
Power-Off and Go
No need to wait for the projector to cool down. You can discconnet the power cord right after your presentation.
Variable Audio Out
This convenient feature on the PLC-XU88 allows the user to control the audio level right from the projector.
