Complete IT Presentation has been selling Projectors, Plasma's and related A/V products since July 1999. As the internet has become a more popular source for online shopping, regrettably we have seen more and more instances of fraud affecting online shoppers. We have chosen the higher road. We are members in good standing of the Better Business Bureau and our local Chamber of Commerce.
A Price Too Good to be True, It Usually Is.
If you've ever searched for a product on the web, you may have asked yourself, "Why are the stores I know of charging so much more than some of these other stores I've never hear of ?"
Our customers often share these stories with us, so we thought we would share a few with you, in hopes that you don't fall prey to any of these unscrupulous sales tactics.
Goods may be gray market. They may state that the product includes the manufacturer warranty, but not tell you that the warranty is valid only in Europe, Japan, or South America, and NOT in Canada.
If you have called a company and the person answering the phone sounds like Mom, and you hear "Jeff, the phone is for you" faintly in the background. We would not call this a sales tactic, rather a very clear sign this business is not here for you !
You may be asked to buy an expensive extended warranty. In many cases if you do not purchase the warranty, your purchase will be denied. (The product is now out of stock, your card does not go through, etc.)
Included parts may be sold to you separately. Some resellers will open boxes and charge extra for parts that are normally included by the manufacturer. We have heard of power cords, lamps (the original not a spare), filters, etc. being sold this way.
Hidden charges which don't show up until your credit card statement arrives. Unscrupulous resellers will add taxes (even when purchased out of province), insurance (at a much higher cost), and other handling charges not listed on your original invoice. These charges only show up when your credit card statement is sent to you.
Unfair return policies. Be mindful of restocking fees, and rules that do not allow for returns even when the item is not opened, or is damaged.
So how do you protect yourself from online fraud?
Buy from an authorized reseller. If you are at all suspicious, you should be able to contact the manufacturer directly and ask if a company is authorized to sell their products.
Ask for a written quote with the total price. This will help you win an argument with your credit card company more easily, and may deter some fraudsters from proceeding with a scam transaction.

The lens shift function allows for vertical adjustment of up to three screen sizes and horizontal adjustment of up to two. The projector also boasts a double wide angle zoom which can be used fir large projection in living rooms or in smaller rooms.
With its large apertures, the Sirocco ventilator creates sound of no more than 19 decibels in "Theater Black Mode", making it very quiet despite its good levels of cooling. A 3D colour management system optimises the image and provides a particularly good colour depth.
The automatic gradient blending combines design and functionality. Two HDMI inputs (Version 1.3a) and a14 Bit Gamma correction are also included. The new projector is available from November 2007

The PLV- Z2000's color management system provides 1110 times more color combinations than SANYO's 720p PLV-Z5, a total of approximately 216 billion possible color combinations. This new color management system was designed to optimize the potential of Deep Color via the projectors two HDMI 1.3 inputs.
Rated at 1200 lumens, the PLV-Z2000 is capable of an incredible 15,000:1 contrast ratio for superlative black levels, even in ambient light. Plus a newly developed, high efficiency lens that maximizes image details for exceptional optical performance.
The PLV-Z2000 uses a Durable Inorganic Optical System (DIOS), which includes the projector's LCD panels and polarizing film. This highly advanced optical engine increases the overall reliability and performance of the PLV-Z2000 many times over traditional 3LCD projectors.
The PLV-Z2000 is outfitted with the industry's most advanced lens shifting function. When coupled with the projector's short throw capability and 2x zoom, the PLV-Z2000 can create a large screen image in any size room and from virtually any location. The lens shifting function allows wide-range shifting up or down to three screen sizes and left to right to two screen sizes. The throw design of the PLV-Z2000, is capable of projecting a 100-inch diagonal image from 10 to 20 feet away, which makes it extremely suitable for small to mid-size home theaters.
A 1200 lumen projector generates a tremendous amount of heat and requires a high quality fan to protect it. At this level of brightness, the fan is 'on' most of the time and the noise can be extremely loud and disruptive, especially in smaller home theaters where the projector and the audience are in the same vicinity. To promote greater enjoyment of the film and to reduce noise levels during quiet passages of a film, the PLV-Z2000 is equipped with the industry's quietest fan, a large aperture, low noise Sirocco cooling fan that never rises above 19dB in the economy mode.
