Complete IT Presentation has been selling Projectors, Plasma's and related A/V products since July 1999. As the internet has become a more popular source for online shopping, regrettably we have seen more and more instances of fraud affecting online shoppers. We have chosen the higher road. We are members in good standing of the Better Business Bureau and our local Chamber of Commerce.
A Price Too Good to be True, It Usually Is.
If you've ever searched for a product on the web, you may have asked yourself, "Why are the stores I know of charging so much more than some of these other stores I've never hear of ?"
Our customers often share these stories with us, so we thought we would share a few with you, in hopes that you don't fall prey to any of these unscrupulous sales tactics.
Goods may be gray market. They may state that the product includes the manufacturer warranty, but not tell you that the warranty is valid only in Europe, Japan, or South America, and NOT in Canada.
If you have called a company and the person answering the phone sounds like Mom, and you hear "Jeff, the phone is for you" faintly in the background. We would not call this a sales tactic, rather a very clear sign this business is not here for you !
You may be asked to buy an expensive extended warranty. In many cases if you do not purchase the warranty, your purchase will be denied. (The product is now out of stock, your card does not go through, etc.)
Included parts may be sold to you separately. Some resellers will open boxes and charge extra for parts that are normally included by the manufacturer. We have heard of power cords, lamps (the original not a spare), filters, etc. being sold this way.
Hidden charges which don't show up until your credit card statement arrives. Unscrupulous resellers will add taxes (even when purchased out of province), insurance (at a much higher cost), and other handling charges not listed on your original invoice. These charges only show up when your credit card statement is sent to you.
Unfair return policies. Be mindful of restocking fees, and rules that do not allow for returns even when the item is not opened, or is damaged.
So how do you protect yourself from online fraud?
Buy from an authorized reseller. If you are at all suspicious, you should be able to contact the manufacturer directly and ask if a company is authorized to sell their products.
Ask for a written quote with the total price. This will help you win an argument with your credit card company more easily, and may deter some fraudsters from proceeding with a scam transaction.

Very long 2.0x zoom range: The zoom range allows a 100" 16:9 image to be displayed anywhere between a 9.8 and 20.0 foot throw distance. This combined with the lens shift capability makes the Z4 adaptable to a wide variety of installation challenges.
Long range vertical and horizontal lens shift: At neutral position, the centerline of the lens intersects the center of the projected image. From that position the image can be raised or lowered vertically 150% of the picture height, or moved laterally 50% of the picture width in either direction.
Six precalibrated color temperature settings.
Six preprogrammed operating modes and four memories for user-programmable custom settings.
On-board color management system that allows selection and modification of individual colors on screen.
LCD panel adjustment to eliminate vertical banding, should it manifest itself in any given unit.
Auto-closing front panel: A motor-driven front panel opens to expose the lens during operation, and automatically closes when the unit is powered down. Over time, this minimizes the amount of dust that can settle on the lens.
Cleaning system: Introduced on the Z3, the Z4 also incorporates a user-cleaning system to remove dust particles that may settle on the LCD panels. There are three small holes in the bottom of the case that remain closed during normal usage. They can be opened to insert the nozzle of a manual squeeze-blower (included with the projector).
Auto-shut down: if the Z4 detects no signal on the active port for a period of five minutes, it automatically shuts down the lamp and closes the lens housing. For those who tend to leave the room and forget to power down the unit, this saves many hours of wasted lamp life.

PLV-Z4 renders even tiny nuances in expressive detail.
INNOVATIVE NEW 3D COLOR MANAGEMENT
You can adjust and save the level, hue and gamma curve of any
color. Fine-tuning the image settings this way lets you
compensate for the specific conditions in each viewing
environment.
FLEXIBILITY BY 2x ZOOM LENS & LENS SHIFT
With its 2x optical zoom, the PLV-Z4 projects images onto a
100? screen from a throw distance of 9.8ft to 20.0ft. A pair of
side panel controls adjust the lens vertically and horizontally to
project a geometrically accurate and undistorted picture.
EXTENSIVE INPUT CONNECTIONS
A full complement of input terminals, including a digital HDMI
interface, two sets of component video inputs as well as composite
video and S-video connections provide extensive flexibility. You
