Complete IT Presentation has been selling Projectors, Plasma's and related A/V products since July 1999. As the internet has become a more popular source for online shopping, regrettably we have seen more and more instances of fraud affecting online shoppers. We have chosen the higher road. We are members in good standing of the Better Business Bureau and our local Chamber of Commerce.
A Price Too Good to be True, It Usually Is.
If you've ever searched for a product on the web, you may have asked yourself, "Why are the stores I know of charging so much more than some of these other stores I've never hear of ?"
Our customers often share these stories with us, so we thought we would share a few with you, in hopes that you don't fall prey to any of these unscrupulous sales tactics.
Goods may be gray market. They may state that the product includes the manufacturer warranty, but not tell you that the warranty is valid only in Europe, Japan, or South America, and NOT in Canada.
If you have called a company and the person answering the phone sounds like Mom, and you hear "Jeff, the phone is for you" faintly in the background. We would not call this a sales tactic, rather a very clear sign this business is not here for you !
You may be asked to buy an expensive extended warranty. In many cases if you do not purchase the warranty, your purchase will be denied. (The product is now out of stock, your card does not go through, etc.)
Included parts may be sold to you separately. Some resellers will open boxes and charge extra for parts that are normally included by the manufacturer. We have heard of power cords, lamps (the original not a spare), filters, etc. being sold this way.
Hidden charges which don't show up until your credit card statement arrives. Unscrupulous resellers will add taxes (even when purchased out of province), insurance (at a much higher cost), and other handling charges not listed on your original invoice. These charges only show up when your credit card statement is sent to you.
Unfair return policies. Be mindful of restocking fees, and rules that do not allow for returns even when the item is not opened, or is damaged.
So how do you protect yourself from online fraud?
Buy from an authorized reseller. If you are at all suspicious, you should be able to contact the manufacturer directly and ask if a company is authorized to sell their products.
Ask for a written quote with the total price. This will help you win an argument with your credit card company more easily, and may deter some fraudsters from proceeding with a scam transaction.

The new Vivitek H1080FD 1080p Home Theater Projector is a high-end entertainment system at a low-end price. If you're not familiar with the Vivitek name yet you will be. The videophile sites and magazines are already singing the praises of the H1080FD's price/performance ratio.
We're talking about 1800 lumens at a 5000:1 contrast ratio with Full HD (1920 x 1080p) resolution for hundreds less than many of its competitors. And the H1080FD boasts of the same Texas Instruments BrilliantColor DMD DLP (Digital Micromirror Device Digital Light Processor) DarkChip2 panel (the part that forms the image) that projectors costing thousands more use.
Texas Instrument's DLP chips are regarded by many as the best projector panels available. They produce beautiful life-like images even if there's ambient light in the room. Plus they don't require filters that have to be cleaned and replaced, saving you time and money over other designs.
You'd expect a "high end" projector to project 720p, 1080i and 1080p images and the H1080FD will meet and exceed your expectations. Those images will be carried to the projector in pure digital form thanks to its two HDMI 1.3 inputs.
Your H1080FD comes with its own carrying case and if you take it overseas it'll be right at home. In addition to NTSC it can handle many variations of the PAL and SECAM video signal standards. Plus its universal power supply can handle power from 100 – 240 volts.
Add in compatibility with Macintosh and PC video standards up to a maximum of 1152 x 870 on the Mac and UXGA (1600 x 1200) on the PC and you have a home theater projector that would be welcome in classrooms and boardrooms too.
You may not spend much for your H1080FD but that just means you're going to want to hold on to all the more. So it comes with a port for an optional Kensington lock and a security bar through which you thread an optional steel cable. Your 1080HD can do a lot but the one thing you don't want it doing is "walking away".

Texas Instruments' patented DMD DLP imager features an innovation TI calls BrilliantColor. Unlike other technologies such as LCD that use just three primary colors to produce the image, DLP Technology with BrilliantColor uses up to six separate colors. Color accuracy is paramount to a quality image. BrilliantColor not only improves color accuracy, it brightens secondary colors as well. This combination produces a new level of color performance that increases the brightness of the colors by up to 50% over DLP projectors without BrilliantColor for accurate, true-to-life images.

The H1080FD has Two HDMI 1.3 input terminals for digital transmission without image degradation. The HDMI input terminals support Deep Color, which provides 10-bit (over 1.07 billion) color depth for smooth gradation between colors, and natural, lifelike images.
±30° Automatic Keystone Correction
Automatic keystone correction technology instantly projects a square image even when the projector is set up at a steep offset angle to the screen.
Ready For The World
This projector has a 100 to 240 V international power supply; can accept and project video in the NTSC (M, 3.58/4.43 MHz), PAL (B, D, G, H, I, M, N) and SECAM (B, D, G, K, K1, L) standards and its onscreen display (OSD) offers you 17 languages from which to choose. It even has its own carrying case.
Closed Captioning Includes Your Whole Audience
